Timaru Yr 7 & 8 Leadership Day

In the first week of April, Mission Team headed down to Timaru to join and the year 7’s that came from different schools in the area for their leadership day. Throughout the day, there were different workshops that the youth attended. We ran a workshop on trust that involved mousetraps. We listened to different speakers such as the head boys and girls of Roncalli School and the mayor. It was really inspiring to hear how such important people became leaders. Jack’s highlight of the entire day was when he got all the youth to chant “TOAST”! Overall, I think the year 7’s and the Mission Team learned how to be better leaders.
